As long as you don't use a bike, skates, Segway or other aid; I think you're good!

Walk-Running in Mexico

I´ve been walk-running for the last 7 years, even for 5k races. Usually do 2 minute walk breaks between 2-8 minute running intervals.

However, recently I read Jeff´s comment on using 1:1 in a marathon so I tried today for a 10k and I did 1:01, just as last year´s same race with 3(run):2(walk), and felt great. I mean, a 10K in just above one hour walking half of the time? Many folks find this hard to believe.

The only cheating (to your health) would be not get out and move as long as you can!
